About the Project/

The Berlinian — a 146-meter, 34-story office high-rise at Alexanderplatz in Berlin-Mitte, developed by Commerz Real. 55,000 m² BGF, LEED and WELL certified. The tower sits adjacent to the Weltstadtwarenhaus, partly built on its footprint — which required careful structural integration with the existing building below.

Design by Kleihues + Kleihues, execution planning by Aukett + Heese. The lower floors include integrated retail space connecting into the existing department store. Timeline: 2022–2026.
