About the Project/
Das Center — formerly the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz, built in 2000 to designs by Helmut Jahn with PWP Landscape Architecture. A 113,000 m² mixed-use complex and one of Berlin's most recognized landmarks, drawing around 7 million visitors annually. Acquired in 2017 by Oxford Properties, with a master plan for repositioning presented in 2021 by JAHN Architects and PWP.
The scope covered the BahnTower (24,000 m²) and an additional 17,000 m² of the complex. Delivered through Aukett + Heese across Leistungsphasen 2–8. Timeline: 2020–2024.
